A  lively, glowing stranded colorwork project that will delight any knitter, whether you love chickens or not.  The pattern includes motif options for hens (Hillary & Hattie), geese (Gili, Glyn, Gretel & Garuda) or pigs  (Paisley & Pablo).  There are also two crown-shaping chart options.
 
The kit includes the pattern along with Five Sisters Farm Shetland wool fingering yarn in one natural color (Quince, 25g), and five hand-dyed colors (Chrysanthemum 10g, Walnut 10g, Coral 10g, Leaf 10g, and Spruce, 10g).  This slightly slouchy beanie is worked bottom-up, in the round, and using Fair Isle and stranded colorwork techniques.  Embroidery or duplicate stitch embellishments may be added upon completion.
