Stylish and colorful, these fingerless mitts evoke vintage style.  Designed by Mona Zillah of BunnyMuff Designs, this playful pattern is named in honor of Ariane Burgess who is the Scottish Environment LINK's Beaver Champion.  Beavers help small farms by improving water quality.  The leaf green and turquoise Shetland fingering weight yarn evokes the colors of life and water.

This kit contains a pattern for a pair of muffatees worked from the bottom up and in the round, using the stranded colorwork technique, with Leaf and Turquoise 1-oz balls of Five Sisters Farm Shetland fingering weight yarn.  Yarn grown by Fiver Sisters Farm, processed by Pict Wool Fiber Mill in NH, and hand-dyed by Five Sisters Farm.
