Wow, its been a busy few months. We had a successful and fun Fall Fiber Festival, thank you to all the folks who came and supported our endeavors! Here it is November and I haven't made any blog posts in awhile. I do stay current with daily Instagram updates so follow along there for more day-to-day farm updates. I'm planning to start a quarterly (or more frequent if time doesn't slip away from me) email newsletter, so please do message with your email address if you want to be added.
I finally met the wonderful Mona Zillah, who has been prolifically designing patterns with our yarn! She made the trek over from the North Country NY to join our fiber festival events. Check out all the new kits (pattern and yarn included) that have been added to our online shop.

The Yarn Shop has been buzzing with visitors now that sweater weather has arrived. We will stay open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4, hopefully until just before Christmas, weather permitting. Come and meet our woolly Shetland friends who are ready to greet visitors (likely they will be moved into better enclosed spaces by mid-November, so plan a trip before it gets too cold).

Our sheep have been separated into breeding groups. All of the rams we had available for sale have gone off to be sires at other farms, or going in the next couple of weeks. We have a nice starter flock ready to relocate to Connecticut soon and I can't wait to hear their adventures and about new babies in the spring.
The Boston Globe featured us in an article about the resurgence of local wool farming and processing in the Northeast. We were so honored to spend a day with a photographer who captured amazing images of our farm.

Save the date now for our Meet the Lambs open farm event, Mother's Day weekend 2026. The seasons, they go round and round, and we work hard to keep up with it all!
